Cats seeking extra special humans

GAWS is seeking experienced cat owners who are ready to adopt.

Our cats in foster care are extra special, and need extra special owners who will have time and patience as their new furry friend settles in.

The GAWS foster program is filled with cats who need to go to their forever homes. More than 30 cats are in foster care waiting to be adopted.

The reasons for these cats being cared for in Foster? Some have special needs, some have been enjoying some respite from shelter life, some have been recovering from procedures or illness, and some just prefer a home environment.

Between April 3 and April 16, to help find as many homes as possible, GAWS will be offering a lowered adoption fee of $39 for the Foster Cats available for adoption.

These felines need to go straight from foster home to forever home; you won't find them in the GAWS shelter if you were to visit.

Meet & greets are by appointment only. Please complete an adoption form or contact GAWS to arrange.

We need to find as many loving homes for our cats as possible, to ease pressure on the GAWS foster care program, staff and resources, and to create space for more cats who need extra TLC.

All adoption animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea & worm treated.

The usual GAWS adoption procedures apply during this promotion to ensure that animals are matched to the right home.

Adoption fee: Adoption fee lowered to $39 for any Foster Cat available for adoption.

How to apply: View the Foster Cats available for adoption on our website. Complete an adoption application form for a Foster Cat available for adoption and submit to GAWS. GAWS staff will arrange a meet and greet for you and your new best friend between 3rd-16th April.
