FELINE FRENZY - ADOPT A CAT THIS WEEKEND FOR $29

GAWS is offering a reduced adoption fee of $29 on cats during its Feline Frenzy weekend - Saturday 21 – Sunday 22 January.

We need to find as many loving homes for our cats as possible, to ease pressure on the facility, animals, staff and resources, and to create space for more cats who need care.

You can come and meet all of the available cats at GAWS, including those who are currently being cared for in foster.

All adoption animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea & worm treated.

We have extended opening hours over the weekend to provide the public with more time to adopt. The shelter will be open 10am-4pm on both days, but please come before 3pm so you have plenty of time to meet your new best friend and go through the adoption process.

No appointments are necessary; however the usual GAWS adoption procedures apply during this weekend promotion to ensure that animals are matched to the right home.

The promotion excludes kittens under the age of six months and special breeds.
