Social Club

Social Club is available for anyone who has a dog that wants to socialize with other dogs. We aim to also help with the timid dogs or dogs that have a difficult time communicating. We can build their confidence up around other dogs; give you some tips on how to manage your dog in a public space and generally let your dogs be dogs and have a good time.

The Social Club Program demonstrates both the practical efficiencies of play groups for the community dogs, as well as the emotional and behavioural benefits for the animals.

We hold big and small dog social as well as social club for Greyhounds, where we get all our greyhounds out together.

We run Social Club 5 days a week. We encourage you to book so we can put your dog in with dogs of similar size.

Massage your Dog: Level 1

Come with your own dog.
Dogs must be more than 6 months old, be friendly, and vaccinated (please bring card)

Our massage classes are designed to create or strengthen a bond between you and your dog, to provide pure relaxation (for both you and the pet!), and to help calm excitable dogs. Whilst not being therapeutic in technique there are many benefits derived from this style of relaxation massage including muscle relaxation, dilation of blood and lymph vessels and better circulation, stimulation of digestive and elimination systems, release of stored toxins and, of course, release of endorphins for pure enjoyment of the session.

There are many benefits to you also and we will share with you the techniques for the kind of visualisation that creates an understanding between you and your loved pet on a higher level. The calming effects on you also have many positive benefits.

So join us in learning the basic strokes and T-Touch moves to set you on your way to many enjoyable and relaxing sessions with your beautiful mate. Certificate of Attendance and Workshop Notes provided.

Learn more of the importance of visualisation and meditation as well as strokes that are tending more towards being therapeutic in nature, whilst still maintaining the classification of Relaxation Massage.

In this workshop we learn more strokes and include jostling/vibrations, leg compressions and stretches, and a new series of T-Touch moves.

It is our hope that all those attending Massage Level 1 will move on and complete this workshop, to round out their knowledge and expertise enough to incorporate the practice into everyday life and continue to strengthen the loving bond between you and your beloved dog. Reiki for pets

For owners (guardians) of any type of pet but do not bring them to the workshop

In this workshop you will learn techniques to use at home. We must work in a quiet and uninterrupted environment, so having a variety of pets in the same room is not workable.

Everything in the universe is about energy, frequencies and vibrations. Reiki is simply 'hands on healing' and is based on the idea that all living beings have life energy flowing through them. It is the purity of balance, harmony, and connection or “oneness” that is the essence of this practice. This life energy can be channelled through your hands to your pet. The benefits in gaining knowledge about how this works are beyond an explanation in one sentence. EVERYONE can do it. All you need is some help to understand how it can happen.

In this workshop you will be shown various techniques to activate and channel the healing energy that is all around us. Certificate of Attendance and Workshop Notes will be provided.

BRING: A cushion for your chair if you feel you need one and a notebook and pen. Whilst notes will be given out at the end of class you may like to jot down things that resonate well for you during the class, which will be conducted around a table.

Date: Sunday August 20th
Time: 10am-12pm
Cost: $45

Understanding Animal Communication

For all animal and bird lovers

No pets at the workshop

This workshop is for anyone who has at some time very much wished they could tune in to a pet's feelings or 'thoughts', not just for fun (that is not what this is about) but to help with the animal's health issues and behaviour problems with a genuine desire for the best possible outcome.

Communicating with animals works telepathically using Theta brainwaves. When we look at the roots of the word "telepathy," we find that it means "feeling across a distance." Telepathic communication involves the direct transmission of feelings, intentions, thoughts, mental images, emotions, impressions, sensations, and pure knowing. We ALL have the ability to do this but have lost the belief in ourselves. Animals communicate telepathically all the time. We just don't know how to pick it up.

The workshop will provide you with information, exercises and tools to increase your understanding of how it happens and thus encourage you to regain your belief in your own abilities. Certificate of Attendance and Workshop Notes will be provided.

BRING: A photo of your own living pet (vital!) Also a cushion for your chair if you feel you need one and a notebook and pen. Whilst notes will be given out at the end of class you may like to jot down things that seem important for you to remember.

Date: Sunday September 3rd
Time: 10am-12pm
