At GAWS, we’re striving to give every cat and dog another chance at life. We’re doing everything we can to get them back into loving homes, even when it takes a bit longer. If they need veterinary care we make sure they get it. Geelong is fast becoming the safest place in Victoria for cats and dogs.

How can you help?

We rely on the generosity of animal lovers to fund our work. By becoming a Pen Pal your donations will go to the ongoing costs of medical treatment, food, behavioural training, foster care and enrichment while our animals are in the care of GAWS.

How could this benefit my business?

When you sign up to become a Pen Pal GAWS will recognise your support with a plaque on the pen you sponsor. This high exposure will show the community that your organisation is helping GAWS work towards a no kill future.

In addition your logo will go on our web site which get over 15,000 visits a month.

What if I don’t have a business?

We encourage families and individuals to also become sponsors. Paul Chapman, champion player for the Geelong ‘Cats’ Football Club, came to GAWS with his dog named Indy and placed a personal plaque on a pen to show their support. Your plaque will be engraved with your own personal message and mounted on a pen of your choice

How much does it cost?

Costs vary depending on the type of Pen you would like to sponsor, ranging from $365 to $1550 a year.  The money from this sponsorship goes directly to saving the lives of many of the GAWS animals.
